About the Illustrator
Diya Seepaul is a British architectural designer and illustrator based in the UK. Her work draws inspiration from the built landscape with elements of the fantastical and imagined. Key influences whilst developing her style and portfolio include Brett Helquist, Quentin Blake, and Tove Jansson. When faced with a brief or a theme in mind, she sketches out rough ideas and forms, and maps out relevant colour combinations before putting down any linework. Depending on the brief, she will determine which medium suits best and how to leverage the benefits of digital and analogue methods to achieve the best outcome.
