Throughout my education, I had an active interest in analog photography. Having explored multiple photographic processes, I have surmised that I am most interested in the relationship between the photo and the user/viewer/photographer - especially the different scales you can discover. This ranges from sculptural (the act of holding such an object with the memory of a photograph, to an installation ( how one experiences the image) or digitally scanning this and how we view this.
In the summers of 2020, 2022, and 2023, I attended the LT Ranch Space summer residency, where I had the opportunity to research and investigate this further. If there is another chance, I would like to try to rebuild this in a more permanent way, now that I know what I know about the anatomy of cameras and photographic equipment.
